Cedar Path โ Trail Privacy Statement
Last updated: June 2025
Cedar Path is a quiet trail โ no surveillance cameras, no data collectors, no one watching your every step. This privacy statement marks every point where information might cross our path and explains, clearly, what we do with it.
What the trail records
Cedar Path records nothing personal about its hikers. No walker's log, no step count, no device marker is pressed into the trail mud. You hike in and hike out, leaving only memories.
Trail conditions (server logs)
Like a ranger station's daily conditions report, our servers may automatically note: browser type, device category, and an anonymised IP fragment. These notes confirm the trail is open and safe. They identify no hiker.
No trail cameras
Cedar Path installs no advertising trail cameras, no behavioural analytics sensors, and no third-party monitoring along the route.
The mapmaker (Google Fonts)
Our trail markers โ the typefaces โ come from Google Fonts. Your browser's request to Google may include your IP address. Their statement covers what they do at that trailhead.
Young hikers
Cedar Path is a gentle, contemplative game for all ages. No violent content, no gambling, no age restrictions. Every hiker is welcome on the path. We collect nothing from any of them.
Statement revisions
Should the trail change, this statement will be updated and redated. Continued hiking after any revision means you accept the new terms.
